Default 37" tires on 17" what PSI do I run

My Jeep JK weights in at 5300lbs on a scale. I have 37" BFG A/T 12.50 17" tires. I'm running them on a 8.5" wheel. What tire pressure do I run on the street because at 25lbs I still am getting some crown on the tread pattern. I run 27lbs in front and 23 lbs in the rear. what should I run when off roading. DON'T want to blow the bead?

I'm running 30-32 with my 37x13.50 Toyo MT with a 17x8 wheel.

I believe youre suppose to run 25PSI in a 37" tire due to our JKs not being heavy enough to leave a good footprint at 30-32PSI

Wow that is a lot especially with a heavy tire like Toyo!

I'm running the same tire at 28psi on a 9" wheel. I still get the crown you are talking about but the ride is comfortable. I believe the "crown" you are talking about is due to a 12.5 or so wide tire squeezed onto an 8-9" wheel. I wouldn't run your psi any lower than 25 on road. Off road I would recommend 10-15psi but unfortunately it's more or less of a trial and error to get your "proper" psi off road before blowing a bead.

15psi offroad is a good safe pressure to avoid losing the bead
