Default 37" General Grabber "red letter"

Anybody have any inside info on whether these ever going to be available as DOT legal or if you have to buy them as a race tire only?

spoke to General a couple of months ago....37's are not available to the public -- they only make them for use for their company performance drivers.....sad cause I wanted these.... but got Toyo's

That's what I thought.. Been hearing great things about these tires and disappointed that they're not available in 37's as there aren't many tires out there that really suit my needs in 37's in an AT/MT hybrid.. The FCII's are real nice but big $$$

Just don't see the wisdom in making the 37" tire unavailable. If General is already producing them why not sell them too?

what does the tread life seem to be on these? anyone know the weight of a 35 1250 17....i am about to order the KM2 but would like a lighter weight alternative, not alot of mud here, mostly expedition driving and winter snow/ice

The tread life is supposed to be very good. Does anybody here know anybody that had access to get the 37 grabbers?? Would LOVE to find these tires.

Thank the Explorer/Firestone tire debacle for a tire manufacturer NOT wanting to sell a tire for on-road use.

The TREAD act makes their lives a LOT more complicated.

I'm running a set in 285 and they measure 32". I think the weight is about 65 lbs. So far they have wore evenly and have great on and off road traction.
