31's and 15" wheels....

I guess I missed the part where it looks like a donk?

Sorry about my limited wheeling....everyone else in my group was on 35's.

So you flipped a guy off because you don't like his taste in wheels and tires? And you brag about it on here? What a Dbag

We're talking width, not diameter.

And yes, a 33x12.5x20 tire on a 20x12 wheel will look absolutely ridiculous, perform terribly, and ride horribly.

The OP's question wasn't whether you liked his choice or what your preference is, but rather can a 12.5 wide 35" tire fit on a 20x12 rim.

I think my concern would be the rim width being almost as wide as the actual tire. It would work with a low profile tire, but with a 35 I would think the bead wouldn't be as secure. Just my opinion... but... if a reputable tire shop mounts it, then it must not really be a problem. I believe they would be liable if they didn't mention the risk.

Sorry if I made you feel bad Spacebag. Notice I said wheels. That means something. Donking a JK is for a certain area of town.

Any followup from the OP about intended use?

Just a friendly haha not try to spark a war . If the OP doesn't plan on wheelin it much and airing down, then do whatever makes you're jeep look the way you want it to. Nothing wrong with that.

If you plan to wheel it, I would say its a poor wheel choice (diam and width) for that size tire. My 2 cents
