35's temporarily with no lift?
I'm ordering 35's with a 2.5" TF coil lift, and the new wheels will have -12 offset. I have a buyer for my stockers, and the new wheels will likely arrive before I can get the lift installed. If to get him the stockers' am I ok to run the new wheels and tires without a lift for a little while, as long as I keep it on road? Also, I plan to do the pinch seam mod. Do I need to do that first or can it wait too, until I'm putting on the lift?
I know there's a thread I'd seen at one point about no lift, but can't remember what it said and can't find it. Thanks.

I have 34.4's if you calculate it out with my metric size and I have no lift. I do have flat fenders, but that should only count if im flexing this thing at all. I will rub on the Rubicon rails on good bumps.

There was no way I could get five 35's in my 4 door. Too awkward. I had to put a spacer on my stock carrier to make the spare not hit the bumper too. I'd save the headache and use a truck, you'll be glad you did!

I also could not get 5 35" tires in the back with rear seat out. If you do put the tires on without the lift do not go wheeling. You will not have the bumpstops on yet and you can easily destroy you fenders.
