I have a 37" spare tire and rim and need to mount it. I ordered the Rugged Ridge Modular rear bumper w/ tire carrier however it wont be available til mid October according to OMIX.

Just looking for an expensive way to carry my spare until the other bumper arrives
I have a 35 on mine and you can see and hear it rattle around in the bumps... I've just got it on there while I'm waiting for the new rear bumper/tire carrier to arrive... I used the adapter as shown above. It works but I won't be rolling around fast as you can hear it when it starts shaking around...

I run 35's on 16" rims and no issue from the tailgate. I didn't even have to add a space my wheels have enough back spacing.

It should be okay until you can get a tire carrier. I wouldn't run like that indefinitely. I have a 35" on mine right now. I'm just waiting for the Shrockworks carrier.

I have a 35 with 4" BS on the stock mount. It does not rest on the bumper so I flipped my hitch upside down so the tire rests on the hitch. It works for now until I have the $ for the LOD or rockhard system.

I have a 35 KM2 on stock 18" rim mounted on my tailgate. I just used a spacer and it fits fine.. Doesn't hit or rub on anything.

I have a 35" KM2 on the stock Rubicon rim mounted on the stock tire carier using a Spider Trax 1.5" spacer. I could have used a 1" spacer but the 1.5" is what was on hand at the time.

The problem I had without the spacer it hits the 3rd brake light. The spacer fixes that issue but now the tire covers the light

I decided against buying a spacer and just cut out the bumper to make it fit. 36x12.50 fits fine now. You can just about see the third brake light.

Good to know, I am trying to mount the same setup right now. I am thinking about cuting the light bracket and inserting a spacer and bolting it back together. Did it hit your bumper too?
