Default 35's mounted and balanced pricing?

I can't find a price lower than $220 to mount and balance my new 35's. This just seems pricey to me.

This is my first set of new tires since my Accord, so i'm not exactly sure what to expect...

Am I crazy, or should I keep looking?

This is why it's sometimes good to buy tires locally. Many include mounting with tire purchase, if you buy more than one tire.

Bigger tires cost more, my buddy had to take his 37s to a diesel shop to get them mounted because they wouldn't fit in the other shops machine.

I second that. Discount Tire mounted and balanced my 35's for free, plus I get lifetime re-balancing and rotations at no cost. Local is the way to go.

If you are in northing VA and trying to get that size mounted it will be about that. (not many places have the equipment to do that) (the machines have a plastic guard that will rub on the tire. its better to find a small shop or an offroad shop that would have that. and it should be a little cheaper.

People may jump on me and I don't know if they will do 35s, but Wal-Mart mounts them for $5 a tire when you bring them in and balances them for $5 a tire so that's just another option. I know I know...just naming options.
