And what about wheeling with 35's on a D30 front? Prone to breaking?
You'll be in and uot of OD on hoghways where there are some inclines. Around town, it'll be sluggish off the line but doable. The main thing is yor tranny searching for the right gear at highway speeds.

On the D30, depends on how hard you wheel. I've known plenty that have been ok, but they genereally didn't get themselves in 'binding' situations (rocks and hoking up in mud).

I have 35's, no lift, and 3.21's and Gosh Dang! Do you have a fuel leak . I only lost like 2 more mpg more than stock. I have a Dakota with 408 stroker with 600+ hp that gets 14...LOL.

Gas mileage can be different for the guy with 35's, no lift, and 6 speed. For instance if I drove in 6th it would be so high geared I would have to have the long thin pedal to the floor, I would get better if I stayed in 5th and the pedal not so far down. As far a gas mileage its going to be different with different drivers.

IMO everyone out there that is that worried about gas mileage should have settled with a 30+mpg Honda and gave up 4x4's. Me? I like my 17 mpg Jeep just fine...more than just fine I think.

Live Free or Die Keene!

as far as the money goes; NH doesnt take any state taxes out, you should apply that extra income for a proper build.

I run the stock 32's on my 07-JK 6speed here on maui, but you wont see me crawling over lava rock. When I am off road and climbing hills Im in 4lo and shifting between 1-2nd, otherwise im 4H screaming through some pretty deep mud; thats when the low RPMs on the 3.21 pay off. Nothing like spinning your tires like crazy without running the RPM's too high.

I'd like to get some more feedback regarding the 3.21's with 33's x 12.5.

How is your speed and RPMs looking going through all the gears?

Thanks

Not sure on the future of the jeep ... so I went with 33's and a 2.5" BB. Not really sure if I am going to keep the jeep very long.

Then learn to do it yourself and save a ton of money. Do you know how to read? That's all it really takes.

In the same position, but I am going to get the 35's on and just save up for gears.
