I have those on right now and they are a pain with the stock gears. It is always hunting for the right gear and makes the jeep very underpowered and it is already underpowered enough before 35s.

If you disable OD then its managable, and keep the RPM's right at 2300. However you will end up getting around 13mpg with this setup. I drive my JK with 35's daily, and I drive alot. less then a year and I have almost 24k. with OD turned on, you will always hunt for the right gear. Personally I am getting the 5.13's just as soon as I can.

I had that set up for a short time, i hated it. If you dont mind driving around with O/D off. Every time i would encounter even a small hill on the highway, it would down shift, engine raceing as it slowly climbed the hill, and then shift once at the top of the hill. I would just plan on having it regeared asap! You'll be happier in the end.

I have 35's and 3:73's with an Unltd. and I really don't have any problems. As long as you have good steady throttle control, you will be just fine. Now, if you are constantly putting your foot in and out of it, you will notice a difference.

I've had this setup for a year now..it's manageable but definitely leaves something to be desired...POWER!! I'm looking to re-gear asap...otherwise...it is manageable as long as you give yourself extra travel time and turn off overdrive in town
