It's not unbearable - the six speed makes it easier. I live in an area that is moderately hilly, and just upshift when I have to. I've been driving it this way for about 3 months, but am regearing to 4.88's next month.
I had it offroad earlier this month, and didn't have any problems.
My advice would be to go ahead and do the 35's, and when your budget allows upgrade to the 4.88's. If you can't afford the upgrade for a while, you will be fine.

i used to run this setup in my '07. Fine around town. Lost 6th on the highway. Had to shift down to 3rd at times to take hills. Burned out my clutch offroad and I'm sure that tranny damage was soon to come. It rreally depends on what you plan to do with your rig. Short term you should have no problems

35's and 3.21's = no fun!! You have no sixth gear atleast not with any power. I live in east tennessee and ran this setup for about 6 months before I put the 4.10's in. Decided to change to the 4.10's after the rubi axle swap. I would just save up and get some 4.88's. This way you will not lose any stock power. Just my opinion!

anyone else??
i don't have the cash to change my gears.... or clutch! and while i'm in the rear end i might as well put in lockers... and i really can't afford that either!
i don't want to go with 33's and then change to 35's.... so not sure what to do!
