on a 2008 4 door rubicon 4.10 gears do i need to change my gears i have a lift they will fit how off is my speed going to be anyone know please

Im running the 410's and 35" KM2's. My speedo is off about 5mph. You can get by with stock gears. I am putting 513's in before moab. If you are conserned about the speedo i would order an AEV Procal for about $125. You can fix the speedo and a lot of other cool stuff for a great price

As far as wheel'n goes, the 4.10 is fine. You will notice the negative difference when you are trying to climb hills at highway speeds. I ran 35"s and 4.10 for a while on my 07 X and will be running them again on my current rig.

If I had the extra cash, which I do not, I would love to regear to 4.88 just to get it back to stock.

I run 35" with 3.21's. And it sucks. But I get my gears in next week.

The big question is do you have a manual or auto? I have a manual with 35's and 4.10's and it is fine, there is definitely a difference but not too much, and I lost about 1.5 mpg.
With an auto I think re-gearing is more necessary.

I run 35's with 3.73's and I plan to regear soon.

I had 4.10s with 35s for about a week. It sucked. Not as bad as you may think, but it sucked. I am rolling 5.13 now and it feels perfect!

so does 5.13 and 35 make the rubicon run like if it was stock if that makes sense to you on highway and how did your gas miliage vary

I had 3.07s and ran 33s for about 2 months, would NEVER do that again. Was with an XJ and the 4.0 engine. Was difficult just starting in 1st gear on an incline. I vote to re-gear.
