Default 35 vs 37

I know this has probably been dicussed many times on here, but due to the limitations of the search function I cannot find past discussions.

What I need to know is who has run 35 and 37 inch tires? What are the pros and cons of each? Any regrets with either? Was the drive, height, and feel of the Jeep significantly different for those who have gone from 35's to 37's?

My Jeep will be driven daily and used here in the Colorado mountains on weekends. If it was a trail rig only, 37's would be a no brainer, but I still need to be able to use her after playtime! Thanks for any opinions.

35's fit on the shock spare tire carrier and are quite drivable with a 6 speed. I suspect that 37's would need a regear and a thousand dollar rear bumper.

Hey, I found this on the page. I actually thought your post was this one until I clicked on it. Maybe this will help some too...

There seem to be a lot of pros to both, but for me, I can't justify all of the possible problems/things that may need to be upgraded when going to 37's

Actually the 35s need an adapter to run the spare on the stock mount, either however require a gear change I have found. Im runnin 35s and think there perfect for the body, mines a daily driver and dont notice much difference from the 32s other than the gearing. Any added weight really kills the power

Not entirely true my man. I have a 35 on my rear stock mount as well as many others on here. I have 5" of backspacing and still have an inch of clearance. I have not re-geared with them as of yet. With stock 4.10's it's not something that is "required" to be done. If I had a 6-speed I would probably care even less about re-gearing.

I've had both on my JK. I like the 37's better. They make a big difference off road in my opinion. Whether it's right for you is a decision only you can make. If I had it to do all over again I would have skipped the 35's and gone with a 4+" lift from the start. It's tollerable with 4.10's but lower gears would definately be better. Good luck.
