35" Toyo Open country AT II AEV 2" BB
I have a 2008 Rubi with a 2" lift and are looking for thoughts on whether the AT 35" will fit and would there be much rubbing? If there is going to be rubbing, where can I expect that to happen ?

Certainly you'll need to trim the rear of the rocker rails, and the pinch seam... See pic below.
Front bumper may rub too, so consider a stubby. If you're running stock wheels, you'll probably need spacers too.
I just installed the same tires in the only slightly smaller, but considerably narrower size of 285/75R17 (34x11.50) in my rig with stock wheels and spacers, VDP stubby bumper kit, and a 2.5" lift.

Thanks, something that I am trying to determine is if I can get away with running them as a DD until I upgrade the lift in a few weeks. Since I have been holding off until I decided on tire, lift etc... the current BFG MT are thin

If running around town won't be an issue but off road it will. If running stock rims you will rub when turning on the sway bar and possibly frame. If you have not got tires yet I would suggest the R/T's over the at2's. I was toyos biggest at2 fan I have had them in 285/75-16,285/70-17,285/75-17 and 35/12.5-17 and loved them but just got a set of r/T's in 35/12.5-17 and they are even better.

To start to complete the story, I have ordered my wheels and lift, both AEVs. And if I had not recently started traveling up north every week, about 200mi round trip, I definitely would have gone with a more aggressive tire and may still. One because there are more places to get the shoes dirty in NH, ME and VT and because I really want a MT. Or now a RT. But I need to be smart too, with 200+ miles a week in all kinds of New England weather, what I want and need do not 100% line up. If the RT is the blend that i need and want I will look into it. If the RT or you can recommend a MT that will stand up to the miles and weather and are still good for wheeling on all kind so NE terrain, I am open to it.

Thanks, I have not order tires yet. But have run mentally though all of those sizes too in both the MT and AT. I have not looked at the RT, which I will.

Thanks guys, pulled the trigger on some 35" R/Ts, they deliver on Friday.
Lift, Wheels, tires and bumpers will be installed next week.
