Thanks. Shot by my friend, Ray. The primary purpose of this trip was to get some avid amateur photographers together to shoot some pics and vids. You can see our final product here ...

Have a set of 315/70/17 on 3/4 ram ctd. Best tires I have ever owned and very quiet. Have about 40k on them now and probably about 20 k left.

They ride great and aren't too loud on the highway.
One of the best all around tires on the market.

My Vote is Cooper Discoverer STT, Had them before on My Grand Cherokee and will go on the JK when I have the Coin. Quiet and they last.

If you consider the nitto's, take a look at the toyo m/t's too. At least they have some sipes for wet or snowy weather.

I went with the Smittybilt Oversized Tire Carrier. Easy set up for an affordable price. Won't feel so bad when I eventually upgrade to new bumpers (rear having tire carrier attached).

Default Rotation

The key for me was not the tires, but the rotation schedule. I ran one set of Procomp MTs and rotated every 6000 miles. The next set, I decided to do it every 3000. I was amazed at the noise difference. Interestingly, the tread wore about the same. The only difference I saw was noise. Of course, could be my imagination.

Back in the old days, I knew nothing about Jeeps tires and did not rotate very often at all... you could hear that Jeep coming from a mile away!

Do you have any experience with these off road? Mud? Sand? Rocks?
