Default 35" Tire fitting on stock tire carrier/bumper?

I just ordered a Shrockworks front bumper, and put my name on the wait list for the rear bumper with tire carrier. My question is will the 35 fit on my stock tire carrier/bumper? The wheel is going to be a Pro Comp 7028. Will I need any spacers? Is the 35 too heavy to hang off the back gate even for a short period of time? Thanks.

I've had mine on for 3 months with no spacer and no problems.

My pro comp wheels are 4.5 BS with 35 tire and it fits perfect. The tire rest on the bumper just enough that it opens and closes easy and takes the weight off when it is closed.

i have eagle series 140 17" with 35x12.5x17 km2's mine is also on the factory carrier and it does not touch the bumper at all, i can slide my hand between the bumper and the tire but that is do to 1" body lift

Had my 35's on the rear gate worked great. Used some old radiator hose to extend the factory bump stops.

Thanks for the replies. It looks like I'll be ok until I get the Shrockworks bumper.
