Default 35" on stock tire carrier

I know, I know, I know. you shouldn't put a 35" tire on the stock carrier cause it can't take the extra weight. well i'm doin it anyways. there is probably thounds of people running that setup and how many pictures do we see of screwed up tailgates. not very many. so my question is i have the 35" tire comin on 17" wheels with 4.5 inch backspacing. will this bolt right up to the stock bracket or will i need to put a spacer in there or change something up to make it work

How does the brake light look? Does it block out the light?

I bought the MBRP extended kit because I'm running stock Rubi wheels and needed to get the tire a little further out. It's now further than it needs to be, but works fine. I used the MBRP tailgate reinforcement kit, and after a full year of DD and trail use, it's all still hanging in there just fine.

You will want to get the daystar tailgate bump stops???? You can cut them to the length you want and they keep the spare snug to the tailgate.

you can get hose for a radiator and cut it and place it on your bump stops to extend it to your tire
