Its what im planning on doing when its time for new tires. People go back and fourth saying they are not safe but read up on the reviews of people who have owned them and its hard to find complaints. And at 160 a tire your left with enough just in savings to get a lift.

Just an idea
Idk, they look like theyd be a good idea for strictly off road but for road driving im not to sure.

Good info to know. I'm wanting to go with 35's, my Jeep is stock height and suspension, and I'm kind of afraid of spacers. Are they really required? Are there any good ones that won't fail?

Taller/wider tires rub inside the wheel wells. The links, the arms, the frame, where ever. To help prevent that, you move the new tires out. This doesn't stop contact with the flares/pinch seams when stuffing, though.

You will want the type of spacers that have two sets of bolts, like SpiderTrax, not the thin ones that sandwich between. As long as you install them correctly and check as part of normal maintenance, you won't have any problems. If you can't read directions and then then forget they are there, you will probably be better off with new rims.

The Largest tires I could get on my 2007 JK X without rubbing was 33" Toyo's. Here they are installed.

This is 35's and no lift. Cut flares. 1.75" bumpstops in the rear. I wheeled the crap out of it and no rubbing. Even when disconnected. I think these are the same wheels you want? They will not clear the calipers, but doesn't take much grinding.
