Default 35"s on a stock jk x

Im in need of new tires within a couple thousand miles of my jeep. I was really wanting to lift my jeep then slap some new wheels and 35" tires on it. What my problem is I wont have enough money for lifting my jeep if i go ahead and buy new tires and wheels. I was thinking would 35"x12.50R15 clear mounted to pro comp's series 98 wheels (15x10 with 3.75" backspace). Btw I plan on calling around and seeing if I can have these test fitted first to make sure theyll clear calipers.

With all that being said if it does clear I know ill have to strictly road it till I get some lift on it. Just wondering if anyone seen it or done it.

JKRay is running 35's with stock ride height. PM him or do a search for his photos and you may see for yourself what they look like.

I added a 1 3/4 leveling kit for my 08 JKU before I added my 35's ( well 315/75/17). You can get the leveling kit for around $100 bucks.

Yep I run them perfectly fine and I have even went off road with them. They do rub but Ill be trimming the fenders to fix that problem.

Anything short of a flat road or trail will be trouble for 35's and no lift. I would get some kind of lift and cut the fenders so you have clearance. If not, your Jeep is honestly more capable stock than it would be like that

Trimmed fenders, 1" body lift and 1" rear bump stops, no rubbing and an easy install.

To me your JK has the prefect set up for what I want -- what is it exactly? Tires, lift, spacers, leveler?...

Much appreciated!

I'm sure no front discos on that rig as it wouldn't just rub, it would tear up stock fenders.
