Anyways, thanks for the replies.. I am also running a stubbifiable (Rugged Ridge XHD) already so im not worried about having it rub the bumper.

justajeep please let me know how it goes. Im curious what I can run..
Werd, I'd love to hear how your rubi does unconnected. My jeep will look nearly identical to the jeep posted minus the wheels if all goes well.

I know someone with a 2 door JK that has 35's and flat flares. She had them custom made by a member of my Jeep club. They were very reasonable in cost. She has no rubbing at all with a stubby front bumper. PM me if you want the website for the flares.

Are you planning on putting bigger tires on? Also will you paint the fenders or will you leave them black?

wow I didnt know you could get that much room just by changing the fenders. I would like to here how they do with 35s also. I want to put 35s on my rubi but would rather not lift it. I just dont want the extra straining on the drive shaft and I want to keep my factory ride. But then again I would rather not rip the fender off when I flex to much

I might be able to show what 36" Iroks look like with Xenon narrow flares, no lift, and Soft 8 wheels with Spidertrax spacers by the end of the week. I have a RC 2.5" BB to put on, but it might have to wait until I get to moab to get installed. :P

If you go with a 1" body lift (as opposed to a suspension lift), your driveline angles and whatnot will be unchanged and the factory ride will be maintained. All a body lift does is raise the body up off the frame using 10 or 12 spacers. Raising the wheel wells up 1" theoretically gives enough room for a 2" taller tire since only half of the diameter sits above the axles. A 1" body lift and flat fenders should be able to clear 35s at full stuff without any problems. Plus it will keep the center of gravity low and will look awesome.

Where can I order these flares shown here?

And do they fit on a 2008 Rubicon 2 door?

Thanks
