Default 34's and 35's on Stock Sahara 18's

I was wondering how a 34's and especially 35's fit and look on the factory 18's. I am between buying 17's or keeping the 18's. This is on my daily driver and would like to save myself $$$.. Thanks for helping. And no lift isn't the concern.

Visually, there isn't a huge difference. (unless you see them side by side and actually look for it)

What you need to be concerned with is the width. Those thin stock rims are narrower than the mfg's specs for wider 34/35" tires, so make sure your shop will actually mount them before you purchase. You will also want wheel spacers to move the stock rims further out away from the frame/components.

My personal preference would be to run a smaller rim with the correct backspace rather than spacers. And the tires for smaller rims are generally cheaper too.

I like the look of 35's on the stock wheels. Wheel spacers are a must!

In the same boat. Do the math. It may be cheaper to get 17 x 9 wheels and 17" tires rather than 18" tires with spacers.

It is a tough choice but a good problem to have.

I just went through this and it was less expensive to do the 33's on the stock rims. I bought the Rough Country spacers ($59/pair), and the Goodyear Duratrac 33's were $870 out the door at discount tire.

Between the 34's and 35's I know little visual difference. The trail grapplers I am looking at can be found in 295/70 18s (35x11.5) and 35x12.5s but are 75-80 lbs per tire.. If I went to 17's the Duratracs I have on my wife's TJ are 60 lbs.. very different tires though. I am aware. I have a set of 1.5 spidertrax spacers already but i am concerned with the handling since it will be a daily driver and the sidewalls will be flexed. I have a shop that will mount almost any combo as long as it will hold the rim. The look it great I dont want 33's because I think it makes it look like a mall crawler w/low profile tires.. Just not my thing. I had it 2 weeks took it to the pine barrens (with t-tags still on it) and have plans on heading to rausch creek after we dry out some.

I have been very impressed with how well these tires ride. They ride very smooth and relatively quiet for such a large tire. I chalked them and am running the fronts at 30 lbs and the rears at 28 lbs. I have an auto with 4:10's and with the Superchips I will be good for a long while without re gearing...but I live in flat Florida.

i like the factory look also. I used a 1 3/4 wheel spacer's all the way around. no rubbing what so ever at full turn. didnt even adj the wheel stops.
