Default 34's with 3.5" RK lift to much?

Whatcha think? My Toyo 34's measure 33.25 mounted. Want to take the 2" lift off and go Rock Krawler 3.5 max travel. Is that lift going to be to much for the 34's?

It's definitely more lift than you need for that size tire, so it would be overkill, unless you plan on going bigger in the future. I would personally do the RK 2.5", which will net around 3". You could swap to the longer springs later if you feel you meed more lift. The 2.5" is perfect for 35's.

It depends on your usage. That level of lift and size tire would allow you to tuck the tire into the flare. It may look funny driving down the road but are you going for function or aesthetics?

Lol I'm most definitely don't "need" that much lift. I do just fine as is. I do kinda like the option of RK stock mod. Then I can tinker with it every so often. Instead of blowing all the fun in one day install. Off road is limited for the next year then it will no longer be a DD.

Correct Toyo AT2 Extreme 285/75-17. Love love love these tires!! Also I have a 2011 JKU. Felt little if any power loss with these tires. But dropped about 3MPG

Did you re-calibrate your speedo? At least half of that 3 mpg may be due to error.

Yes I re-calibrated with a Flashpaq. Closest I could get is a little less than 1mpg slower than GPS
