I hope someone can help. I looked it up on here and there were many different answers. What is the conversion from 33x12.50s into a xxx/xx/17? Any help would be appreciated

You can google tire size conversion calculator. I entered 33x12.5x17 and it gave me the exact number of 318/64/17. I'm not sure what the closest standard size is to this but I hope this helps.

285/70/17 = 32.7x11.2x17 (this is normally considered to be a 33" tire)
Not knowing what kind of wheels or back spacing he is running could make a difference, the 285/70/17 maybe a better fit than the 315/65/17.

I believe the OP did say any help would be appreciated. The conversion to 285/70/17 would probably be a better fit without any rubbing issues.

I don't even know if they make a 315/65r17...but that would be the closest to 33x12.5
