Default 33x12.5-15's GY Duratracs and MB Razors on my 2012 2 DR Rubicon, Review!!

Just finished swapping my wheels and tires. A few observations:

The factory lug wrench won't work with these rims and Gorilla lug nuts so I used a 3/4" socket with no problems. I think it may by due to the wrench socket head not centered when it was cast, it has a slight offset, probably poorly made in China, LOL!

The spare wheel mounted up with about a 1" gap between it and the tailgate bump stops. I figured this would be an issue due to wider tire and different wheel offset. I will make some spacers with PVC pipe or maybe buy Daystar aftermarket spacers, no big deal there.

Front brake calipers cleared, not a whole lot of room, maybe about an 1/8", but no grinding, so should be OK. i wouldn't be surprised if the balancing pads on back or rim fall off at some point since they are just sticky back, and just clear the calipers, depending on placement on the back of the rims.

I ordered replacement TPMS sensors since I sold my Rubi take-offs as a package deal to a fellow JK Jeeper ($1100, we're both satisfied!!) and running at 32 PSI for now (Max rated inflation is 35 PSI at full load) and the ride is a lot softer and a bit quieter than the stock BFG KM's.

i ordered from DTD (all in all great service!) and they arrived in 2 days. I was short a lock lug for the spare but called their customer service and an extra one is on they way. I'll update my review after I get it out on the highway for a run.

Here's a few quick pics. I'll post some more later after leveling kit or BB install, not sure at this point but looks pretty sweet as is, let me know what you guys think!

That looks great.
It's amazing what a set of wheels and tires does for the look of a rig....

You didn't get a socket with the gorilla lug nuts? My set came with one. I also ordered from DTD.

Darkside,

Did you receive both a 3/4" socket and the lock socket?
