Default 33's on Stock 16" Aluminum Wheels

I have seen posts asking if they will fit on steelies, what about the 16" aluminum wheels that came on the '07 X with the upgrade. I'm looking at adding some BFG KM2 285/75/16's? Will I need spacers? Can I run them without a lift for awhile?

Any pics would be helpful

Ran a set of 285/75/R16 on the x aluminum rims during the winter last year. No problems.
