Default 33's with no lift

Anyone running 285/75/16 tires with no lift?

I am getting 7189 Procomp wheels that are 16x8 with 4.5" backspace.

I have these 285/75/16 Nitto tires that I want to use. I think they are 11.5"
wide.

I want to see how far they will stick out past the wheel flare.

Will I have any rubbing issues without a lift?

Pictures please!!

I only have 400 miles on my new JK and don't want to lift it for a while.

Default no lift 33's

Here is a pic of mine before I lifted her, running Nitto's 295's and Procomp 7089's... No back spacing.. You can't 4 wheel hard, or they will mess with the fender flares.(and knock them loose). Normal driving is fine.

I'm currently running 285/70/17 (which is the same overall size) with no lift and no rubbing off road. I think your problem would not be the tires but BS on your rims (4.5"). Mine are 5.75" and the problem you run into with out a lift is the rear tires don't tuck up into the fenders. Mine do but you don't get that cool look with the tires sticking out past the fenders.

I had to use Spider trax wheel spacers with the stock rims because of backspacing of rim; but I finally lifted it and went to a rock crawling rim

i've been running 33's with no lift for a few months now and i haven't run into any serious issues. my Jeep is my daily driver that i wheel hard every chance i get. i have been slow in deciding what i want to do as far as lift goes and wheeling on stock suspension has really given me a better idea of what i need. off road i do rub the rear fenders when flexed but it's an easy and cheap fix ( replacement plastic rivets ).
