Default 33s which gear ratio would you go with?

2015 JKU with stock 3.21 gearing, running 33s now. Not many hills as I live in NJ. Getting pretty decent fuel economy with 3.6 mated with 6 speed manual. Rolling at 60mph on the highway is no problem, acceleration is non-existent. To preserve fuel economy, would you recommend 3.73 or 4.1 ratio? Will never go beyond 35 inch tires. Actually completely contempt with 33s.

Thanks.

I live in middle Virginia and have a similar Jeep. I'm going with 4.10 gears to regain my lost acceleration.

4.56 gears if you say you never plan on going more then 35s. Which hints to me 35s are in your future plans. I currently have 33s and just purchased 4.56 Yukon gears. I have not got them
Installed yet. This is just my personal opinion. Others may say different.

Perhaps, I like the 35 look. So most likely once 33s run dry, I will try 35s. If I don't like, I can always go back to 33s. I know you mentioned Yukon.. What other brands to consider? So many brands out there, its hard to know which one to stay away from and which one to get.

Cool, let me know when you do. I am curious to get your feedback.

I have 4.56s and 35s in the flatlands and am happy. I haven't run the mountains since I had 3.73s and 35s and that sucked...so I'm hoping the 4.56s will be good there.

You know? Im not a expert on gear brands, I heard on here that Yukon is a quality brand so I bought yukons. I hear superior is another good gear brand.

I upgraded my 3.8 6 speed running 33's from 3.21 to 4.56 gears last year. Couldn't be happier. Plenty of pickup. I went with the 4.56's because I'll be moving to 35's shortly which should put my right in my sweet spot for performance.

Please listen to this. I had 33's and 4.10 regear on my 2-dr 2013 jk auto and my happiness lasted a very short time. Knew at that time 35's were the prize so then went 315/70/17 GY Duratracs and 4.56, and added s Teraflex leveling kit. Would have saved a ton of money doing it right the first time. Believe me, you WILL want 35's at least at some point soon, especially on a larger JKU which needs at least 35's to look like it should
