33's to 37's
So I just removed my 2.5" BB spacer lift and installed a 3.5" suspension lift. My question is should I buy tires or gears first. I currently run 33's and would like 37's I have a 2008 U auto with I guess 373's. Will I be able to turn these tires and get gears next or should I get gears first?

You will be able turn them but it's not going to be very much fun to drive.
Ultimately, with 37s and an auto your going to need to re gear.
Look into 5.13 or 5.38, based on your needs. Do some searching and you'll find tons of info here about what one will be best for you.

It all depends on your tolerance, if you can handle driving around sluggish for a little while and I say go with tires first. If you get gears now with the smaller tires you'll be running the revolutions on your engine to high and possibly cause some damage.

This is what I was thinking but since I already don't use overdrive I think I may be way undergeared. Anyway I think the yays have it tires before gears it is.

With 37's its recommended that you go with 5.38 you can get away with 5.13's but it still might be a bit sluggish. Either size gear you go with costs the same. There is a good shop in dallas that does re-gearing for $900-$1000 out the door.
