You're really talking apples and oranges when you compare 33's to 35's. Don't think of it as only another 2", more to the effect of how far away from stock you're deviating.

At bear minimum, you're going to want to regear. That and the tire size more than doubles your budget.

Do LOTS of reading. Don't just read here either, do a google search and read it all. When you're done, read it all again. Plus consider if it's your DD or just a off roading vehicle. Plus how long you're keeping it.

I just installed 33's. I'll revisit 35's when they need to be replaced. For now, I don't have the money to do it right.
Is rehearing reqd in your opinion for performance or b/c it wok create other problems down the line if you don't.

I have 35's mounted on my '11 rubi 2 door... Cepek rims w 4.5 bs. Spare is fine on stock carrier, no need to relo the brake light. No substantial difference in mpg moving from 32's either (I have 6 speed)... And no rehearing needed (rubi).

... Fwiw

No lift in these pics. I'm now running a Teraflex Leveling Kit.

You can see in the first pic how the spare fits on the back. I can't help but think a 35 would cover the third brake light.

I run my 35 on stock carrier once on a while and it does not cover 3rd brake light...

Im running 315/70/17 duratracs with a 2.5 inch lift. I have never had a problem. I didn't change a thing on my jeep. Its all stock but the lift and wheels and tires.

U will be fine with 35's. If u r worried about it. Just sleeve and gusset the front axle. But I don't have mine done. And it's been fine.

One picture is no lift and non cut flares and 35's the other two are with RC 2.5" BB I also have spidertrax wheel spacers and this is my old setup

Edit: if you.are.already thinking of 35' s you might be kicking yourself if you go smaller. I'm kicking myself because I want a set of 37' s, oh well live and learn
