Just put 34's on mine. Nitto Trail Grapplers 295/70/18's. They are perfect! They are also very heavy. Almost had to send out a search party for my testicles after lifting one up to put on the tire carrier. Well worth it though. Not a better looking tire on the market...IMO.

I think 35's present a lot of hidden costs in addition to the tires themselves. There are also disadvantages for the daily driver.

Advantages of 33's over 35's
*Slightly better gas milage
*Slightly better performance
*Tailgate is less likely to sag if you mount the spare on the stock carrier
*No issues with stock carrier cracking
*No need to extend the third brake light(33's fit perfect)
*Less of a need to reenforce your axles
*Less of a need to regear your axles

Advantages of 35's
*Slightly better ground clearance
*They look cool

FWIW, I won't be moving up to 35's until I can afford to regear and a bumper with tire carrier. Needless to say, it's going to be a while.

I'm also in the lift /wheel / tire dream land ! Just browsing ! Trying to decide on what to save my money for, all this miserable winter ... Here's my thoughts ... The jeep is my only ride ! That said dependability & what little mpg it has ! I would like to squeak out as much as possible .. So I've made my mind up to go with a roughly 33 - 33.5 tire .... Now brings the lift ! I've seen the AEV 2 mentioned & of course the teraflex 2.5 ..Since I'm solely going with the 33s .. Will the 2.5 make these look tiny & ridiculous ? Better just going with the AEV ? Hmmmmmm?

Also it's a 2012 , the 2.5 going to have issues with the drive shaft & exhaust ? Thinking the .5 difference may save me a 3foot headache .....

I ran 35" KM2's on TF 2.5" BB for 6 months with no issues.. Just make sure you have correct back spacing (4.5" is ideal) and you will also need to trim the rear pinch seams..
