Default 33's with 3" lift?

im looking to do a lift soon. right now its a toss up between 2.5" and 3". i plan to keep my 33's since i have a D30 in a front and plan to keep my rig reliable on the trail once i start wheeling. the problem with 33's is that i have little clearance, so im thinking of doing a 3" lift to make up for it. i havent seen anyone run 33's with a 3" lift yet.

is it going to look like poop?

also, besides brake lines and a front trackbar what else do i need? do i also need a rear adjustable trackbar? and i looking at a totally different ball game between 2.5" and 3"?

The d30 is fine with 35's. There are literally thousands of them on this forum with that setup including me.

Personally I think the 35's look like what should have come from the factory. I think you will regret doing 33s cause they'll look like cheerios especially if you have an unlimited. Only my opinion, but that's what you're asking for...

I am running the Rough Country 3.5" lift....it comes with new lower control arms, trackbar relocation bracket, brake line extension brackets.

You dont need the steering stabilizers you can get away with stock for now. If you have an automatic transmission you might need to replace the front drive shaft as the boot will tear on the tranny pan....if you are a manual tranny then you are good to go!

Basically the way the kit is designed you throw it on and you are laughing......in my opinion.....for the money you spend.....you can't get a better kit.

I run 33" tires on a 3" lift for winter(pic with black rims... Rock Crawler steelies)

Summer I roll on 35" tires(pic with silver rims.... Mickey Thompson w bead lock)

You can decide what spacing you like better...., if I had to pick one based on spacing(not style of rim) I like 35's .... Still lots of room but fills in space a lil better.
