I run 33's on my 2.5 AEV lift and I don't think it looks silly. I still think about 35's, but for all the extra costs that it would take to properly run them, for me it's just not worth it. Even when running the stock 32's and no lift, I never was not able to tackle an obstacle. <img src="https://www.jk-forum.com/forums/attachment.php?attachmentid=618980"/> <img src="https://www.jk-forum.com/forums/attachment.php?attachmentid=618981"/> <img src="https://www.jk-forum.com/forums/attachment.php?attachmentid=618982"/>

I run a 3.5 AEV lift with 35's and 4.56 gears. Regardless of how great it looks, that still cost me a lot more than if I went with 33's and might have needed to regear or get a lift. I take my Jeep out a lot so I could justify to myself spending that kind of money because to me a good looking Jeep might not always get you to the end of the trail.

255/80/17. BFGoodrich shows them at 33.3", I have my procal set at 32" and my speedo is dead on. I was afraid they would be too narrow, but with the 8.5" wide Pintlers they look pretty good on the Jeep. They are 10" wide on the stock 7.5" wide wheel, a bit wider on the Pintlers.

I have 2.5" rk lift 2014 jkur. I wheel it hard and often and normally run 35" toyos but scored a deal on some ko2 34x10.5/17's which are really 32's which are what most would call 33's. I just finished a Colo trip. Black bear Poughkeepsie etc. Figured I'd get better mpg on way to and from with.smaller tires so I put the ko2 on. I got same mpg as I've made most of that trip (to moab) twice in last year with 35's. 35's are much better wheeling. That 1" extra belly clearance helps.
