I have ran 35 12.50 on a a 15x7, however I did not air them down because I was afraid of it breaking the bead. Also you could try a 285x75r16 the only issue you may run into is it rubbing at full turn but there are other posts that show how to limit the turn stop. Hope it helps

I have heard that running a larger tire on the narrow rim is less likely to bust a bead when aired down. Some here are running 12.5's on stock rims. Do a couple of searches and draw your own opinion but I'm going to give it a try.

Tires are one the most important parts of an offroad vehicle. They truly are where the rubber meets road.

If you have done your research and believe the Duratracs fit your needs, then IMO you shouldn't compromise your choice so easily.

If you need a 7.5" wheel, check your local area for a set of cheap 17" Rubi "take offs".
That will allow you to go up a 12.5" wide tire.

By coincidence ,while reading another thread, the 255/85/16 MAXXIS Bighorns only require a 7" rim:

You can put a 285/75R16 tire on the stock 16" rims (I have) and you can put a 315/70/R17 tire on the stock 17" rims (I have them on now).
