I run 285 70 17's on my jeep, but I also run 255 85 16's on my f350.. They are awesome, because they give you the height, but are skinny enough to allow the weight of the vehicle to make the tires cut thru the muck. Love the size, sadly it's becoming extinct.

Damn, that's one hell of a typo!
Back on topic, Interco is based just a few miles down the road from me, and their tires are dirt cheap at the factory store. If my Jeep had anything aside from 3.21 gears in it, that's probably what I would have gone with.
