Default 33 bfg mud terrains?

Anyone have pictures of 285/75/16 bfg muds or any comparable tire with a lift? I am looking into putting 33's on my jeep maybe 35's but I problems with parking garages I don't know if I can clear any of them with the lift and 35's. I run 3.21 gears I can still push 33's with this gear reasonably right or will mpg be affected a lot I have the bfg all terrains and they are 265/75 r 16 and they are just 6 pounds lighter then these.

Also on a side note I got new wheels the atx cornice and for a temporary fix with the spare bump stops I put in blue racket balls to fill the space. I would post picture but I'm on my phone.

I wouldn't go to 35's with 3.21's. Do you have the 3.6 or 3.8?

I have the 3.6. I would regear if I went to 35's but it seems much simpler to do the 33 build in stages like I could just throw on the 33's with no lift. Maybe I could just do this in steps and eventually get to35's. if I had 4.5 gears or higher with 33's until I had 35's would it be like rpms threw the roof.

I have the 3.8 with 4.10's and had 33's for about 8 months or so. You will be good with the 3.6.

However I now have 35's and I can feel a difference. Not too bad tho.

Okay so I think I am going to go with 305/70/r16 tires anyone recommend any I'm open for ideas I live in a climate that rains a lot also gets occasional snow but I also drive to skiing areas with deep snow (off-road conditions run from sandy to brown mud/ loose pack dirt and rocks).

So so this brings me to my next question so to a gear ratio equation to get similar preformance that I have (mpg/ torque so on) future tire size 33 x current gear ratio 3.21 divided by stock tire size 29 = 3.65 so should I go to 3.75 or just jump to 4.11 for performance. (Anyone run this tire size with 4.10?) what are your mpg figures (sorry I know jeeps are not about mpg I don't really care just want to know so I could figure out the hit to my wallet lol) and how is driving behavior with this set up another question what does rpm hit at 75mph/ 120 kph this is the speed I drive on the highway. I also drive a two door manual for further reference

i will also be running a 2.5 lift kit looking for a very very complete lift kit so I do not run into
any problems or mess with geometry to much (unless wheel base is extended that might be a plus) any recommendations I know I know that it is on the forum header in a sticky but I would really appreciate honest recommendations.

thanks for baring with my novice knowledge. Looking forward to learning from all of you!

If your rig sees a lot of highway I would go with the 4.10s. I have the 3.8L and a lot of guys find the 4.10s to be the sweet spot for 33s (for the 6 speed manual). I know it's different for the 3.6L (search Google image for 3.8 manual jk gear chart) but I wouldn't be able to justify the cost from going from 3.21 to 3.73 especially if you plan on going bigger in the future. Just my opinion, just plan for how much highway you see and where you see yourself going with the build. Good luck. Also be wary of guys giving you opinions based on the auto tranny.

I have 33" pro comp XTREME A/T tires and running 3.21's. Seems to be fine most of the time, only up hills at high speeds (70mpg+) do I really notice any sluggishness. I want to re-gear to 4.10's, but I haven't decided between 33's and 35's for my next tire. I was where you were and then realized if I ever want to go up to 35's (assuming I already geared to 4.10's before that) I'd end up wanting to re-gear again to 4.56 or 4.88's. That being said I'm now waiting until I figure out what I want tire wise... After getting some quotes and talking with others I would recommend only re-gearing once if you can. If you think you'll go to 35's hit up the 4.56 gears, if you want to stay with 33's go with 4.10's. Or find a friend and drive there's. Just something to think about.

Just for clarification purposes... I drive 3.6L Auto with 33's, 3.21 gearing, and 3" lift.
