Default 33 or 35's/ 3.73 gears

I am in the market for new tires and rims. I am currently running 3.73 gears, manual, and dont plan on regearing. My jeep is my DD not a long commute, and mild offroad. Would I be able to run 35's without regearing or would I be better off with 33's. I am looking at the km2's and pro comp wheels 17".

Thanks

Chris

i have 3.73 and 35s. you can make it work on the pavement. 6th gear is just for show, i only use it on flats on the highway.

off roading is okay, but makes me want to regear.

If you are NOT going to regear, I think 33s will work better for you.

x2. I haven't been too disappointed with 35's and my 4.10s (as long as overdrive is off), but I'm not sure 3.73s and 35's would be very much fun. If you aren't regearing, I'd stick with 33's.

I have 33's (MT Baja MTZ's) and crager soft 8 steelies. I also have the exact same gear ratio as you..

It works great (would not want to go to 35's without at least 4.88)

6th is still usable for cruise on the highway.

I vote 33's as well, but it is subjective. If you already think the JK is sluggish or barely adequate then definitely avoid the 35's.

I've got 33's, 3.73 gears, and a 6 spd. I wouldn't go 35 unless you plan on regearing. It's not bad at all but 35's would be rough.

I'm running 33's with 3.73 gears and a auto, so it's almost like a step down. It's a little sluggish, but in all honesty not that bad. I don't think I'll want to go to 35s before I regear.
