I could not make up my mind so I had my local Discount Tire mount one of each up for me so I could look at it. Wanted to see if the 35's looked $1250 dollars better (which is what i figured it would cost me total for the extra rubber and gears).
They didn't.

Looks good....I'm in the same boat actually. When it's time for tires again, I really would rather move up to 35's but I would have to do the gears also and that means even spending even more money that I don't have! I think 33's are big enough for me...they've gotten me everywhere I've been so far!
Admittedly, it does look much better with the 35's though....but like I said, I understand why you went with the 33's.

Yeah the 35's might fill a little better but LOOKS are not my main concern, I want function and since im approx. 3 hours from any real wheelin i didnt see the point.
My jeep had a body lift on it when i bought it and i think that makes a big difference too.
If I get to a spot on the trail that I cant get through because I dont have 35's then maybe i will consider it but until then its 3's for me.

For $1250 you could have gotten a set of 35's. BFG's are great, but overpriced in comparison. I'd save my money and look elsewhere.
I'll bet it looks nice in person. Pics don't do it justice.

For me there's no doubt that I'd rather have 35's vs 33's, but the main thing to consider is all the additional costs involved to run 35's properly vs. 33's makes it go far beyond just the cost of the tires themselves.

The 17 year old in me said 35's all the way, but the 34 year old made up his mind before he even got to see the comparison and said NO!
Really just took the pic for the forum, its what i wanted to see when i was trying to decide.
They do look different in person for those who care about looks. I will take another pic at a different angle, straight on dosent work to well.
I think minus the 1 inch body lift would make a difference also. might take it off.
