Default 33/12.5/15 on 3.5" backspace - stick out how far??

Looking at ion171 rims (15x8 -25offset / 3.5" backspace) Running teraflex leveling kit and high numbered springs - definitely have space for 33"s

So I shouldn't rub (I hope) but how far out am I sticking out? About to be traveling through 10 states or so, so don't want to push my luck...

Anyone know how far past stock fenders I'll be? Any pics of similar set up?

I have 17x9's with 4.5 inches of backspcing, so a 8 inch wheel with 3.5 inches of bs would stick out the same amount. My tires are also 33x12.50's.

Awesome - less than I thought it was going to be. I appreciate the photos. Makes the decision easier!

Actually, his tires would stick out about 1.25" more. 1" wider wheel makes the tire about 1/2" wider. 1" less of backspace + (1/2) / 2 = 1.25". From my research about the same question, this kind of tire/wheel setup may stick out at least a good 2.5" if not more.

I second that. The exact measurement can be calculated if you know the bs and offset of the original and new rim. then lay a ruler against your tirewall and see where they will stick out. Check your laws too so the cops don't hassle you.

Made a mistake in my calculations. It will stick out 0.75" more, since his wheel is the narrower one.

Yeah, I'm having a few people tell me both that it's going to stick out more or the same.. I did a check with a graphics programs and I find that it would be .5" more, but either way, it's not something I'm really able to justify at the moment - So many choices.. so little money!

Thanks for the help, all!
