Save your money and get what you really want. A 1" to 1.25" BL is around $150. And you l probably be able to git the larger tires now. Then you could do a BB or big leveling kit and probably do 35s later. Or you could do a 2" suspension and we could chop your stock fenders. I'd be happy to come over and help cut up your jeep to fit 35s.

I think my wife would kill us both on the spot if we started cutting by new jeep!!!
Can you install a lift if I provide pizza and beer? The 2.5 TF coil lift with shocks is only around $750 if I remember correctly.
I just didn’t want to mess with the suspension right away. Not that I would never do it. My other car is lowered but I drove it stock for 2 years before I went mod crazy

The teraflex 2.5 Budget Boost is even cheaper and is an easy install. I would get that along with the 35s.

You can run 315/70-17 Duratracs with no lift. We have 1.5" spacers on the stock wheels, would think 17x9s with 4.7" backspacing would be similar.

That looks like it has a small lift in the picture? You are 100% on stock suspension? Just wheels spacers? If it works for you why is everyone saying it won’t work for street use?

100% stock suspension. Have the lift sitting in the garage waiting on me. I did trim the plastic airdam in front, and cut the sliders/pinch seam. Only had 1/2 inch clearance there.

Front and rear? Can you post a pic of how much you cut? Dos cutting the pinch weaken the structural soundness of the Jeep? Why do they make it sticking out like that?

It's tight, but it will fit and won't rub on the highway. But like you said, don't expect to go offroad....which kind of defeats the purpose of a Jeep!

These are 315/75R16 on 16x8 with 5.25" backspacing....no spacers needed.
