Default 315/75r16 Maxxis Bighorns, 16x8 5"bs Cragers & 2.5 Teraflex BB

Will this setup work? I will probably opt for the BB w/ shocks. Does anyone have a similar setup? I'm hoping that the 16x8 5"bs soft 8s will allow the tires to remain under the fender with not much of the tire sticking out......without rubbing. Do you guys think this set up will work/ look good? All thoughts and opinions welcomed .

Would a 17x9 w/ 5"bs make the tires protrude more than a 16x8 w/5"bs?
Thanks in advance......

It shouldn't rub under everyday driving, but if you ever add a bumper/winch or plan on disconecting the sway bars you will have issues.

I agree. 305/70/17's on mine with the same lift and I have plenty of room, but the 315's might be pushing it. Others claim they are running 315's or 35's with the 2.5" lift, but my guess is they will have contact at full flex. Every day driving should be fine.

His tires have a smaller diameter (34.6 vs 35) than yours, so if it's a matter of lift, he should be fine. However, they are a bit wider, so backspacing may be an issue especially on 5"BS rims.

edit: Nevermind, you have a typo and your tires are 70 aspect ratio, not 75 (33.8" tall). His tires are taller and wider than yours, so your point is valid
