I am with a few others here, I want to know if whistles...some of the other brands have an added piece, even Ridig provided an updated part to keep the bar from the noise.

Please let us know if you get the whistle, or vibration or resonance.

Is anyone concerned with the "toughened glass" as apposed to polycarbonate lens material?

Also, just trying to compare these with Rigid... Rigid uses a 10deg spot and a 20deg flood where these lights use a 30deg spot and a 60deg flood... I know this is a loaded question, but which is better and why?

It's just not as flexible. I doubt you'd run into anything that would break it! Don't worry

The tighter the better. Haha the more flood it is, the more the light is able to break up so to speak. The tighter the pattern the more concentrated beam and intensity of light. It's still gonna be bright. I have a combo bar and wish is would have just went all spot. But friends freak out when I turn it on.
