Interesting. The manual of my 08 says gear oil should be 80-90 but the write ups say 75-90. Why is this different?

After looking at the penzoil specs for the tranny, it meets the same specs as MOPAR (Spec MS-9224)

no. but you must have a manual transmission. If so, that changes everything. I assumed you had an automatic transmission.
