Virtually all lifted JK-specific shocks work in a rangoe of 2.5"-4" lifts. He'd be fine.

Ditto. I've been running them on my 4" Teraflex long arm LCG for the last two years and they're the best I've used. Not cheap.

Coming from buying lots of performance stuff for motorsports applications, 900 bucks for four shocks with resivoirs is a deal. I spent 2000 on a set of front shocks on my last snowmobile. Stuff for jeeps is a down right bargain.

Wanted to also mention Teraflex's Elka shocks. Everyone that tries them raves about the ride quality & control. Tera still offers them, again pricy.

Elka are probably the best shock made. I had a set on my rhino 660 and they were miles ahead of anything I ever tried before!
