Default 3" Teraflex 4 Arm Kit

Couple questions regarding this lift I plan on buying...

1. If I use the rear upper control arms to adjust the driveshaft angle, will I have a problem with the length of my stock driveshaft?

2. Teraflex along with their customers admit their lifts give a maximum of what is advertised, so then should I plan on getting a dropped pitman arm if I end up with 3+ inches of lift?

3. How would you rate the shocks (9550 twin tube) that come with this kit? Would it be worth it to upgrade to Bilsteins for $100 extra?

What I'm working with;
09 JK 2dr
35x12.5x15 KM2
15" Pro Comp Alloy Rims
2" Front, 1" Rear Leveling Kit

no. you will be fine.

no, it's not needed but, adding a dropped pitman arm AND track bar relocation bracket (BOTH are necessary to do at the same time) will help improve your handling.

they are good shocks and i think you will like them. if you are looking for a firmer sports car like ride, the bilsteins would be the way to go.

You can install a #1600440 flip draglink also. However I would install the 3" kit first, drive it then decide what to do next.

I overlooked the bracket, thanks for catching it. Great advice!

1) I have this same lift. The drive shaft is fine for now. You may want to upgade later if the boot on the CV joint starts leaking. The rear springs will have a bow to them. The right rear will more than likely hit the rear sway bar. Do what I did not from the start. Cut the rear spring perchs free from the axel & roll them forward & weld them back on.

2) No problem with stock pitman.

3) The Teraflex shocks are great. Take the extra cash & do a steering stabilizer instead.
