Default 3" Dual exit Cat-back exhaust

Hey guys, im new to the site and the wrangler world so if im asking any questions that already been asked i apologize.

I just bought a 2012 jk unlimited sahara with the 3.6L pentastar.
Im looking to give my jeep a little more performance and sound but it seems as if all the exhaust at 2.5" mandrel bent tubing.
I've been looking around and the only 3" Cat-back exhaust that i can find is the single exist "High tuck" from AFE.
Is there a big difference (sound and performance wise) between a 2.5" and 3" on our engines?
Anyone know of any Dual exist (like Gibson and Borla) that 3" cat-backs?

Thanks for the help!

stick with 2.5"....3" will not improve performance with the Jk. No exhaust is gonna give you bolt-on 10-15 HP anyways. Re-gear if you want more "umph". Change your exhaust for clearance or sound preference...not "power"

3 inch is best for forced induction. Stick with 2.5" pipe.

Dynos show that the dual exhaust actually lost power compared to the same model single on the JK. I have the AFE high tuck 2.5 it fits great and sounds as good as a 3.8 v6 can. I really couldn't ask for more.

I would save some money and ditch the catback idea, and just get the muffler of your choice and bolt or weld it on. Forget any noticeable power gains from a full system. FYI, removing the stock resonator along with new muffler will give you a lot deeper tone; but it will also be a good bit louder.

Here's my flowmaster super 10 and no resonator

I've always been a flowmaster guy myself; but it's all subjective. 40 or 44 series, or if you want super aggressive, the super 10

If you are looking at bolt-on only kits, I really like the AFE 2.5 high tuck "RB". This kit relocates the muffler location and only has two connections. Thats my suggestion. Its $379

Ya bolt-on is what im more comfortable with (seeing as how i have no idea how to weld).
Im liking the way the AFE sound. pretty aggressive.
Whats the difference between the XP and RB?
I noticed that the Muffler is relocated on the RB but its also a lot smaller (Quadratec.com has both for the same price).

Muffler location is difference. Also the closer the muffler is to the rear affects sound. Why not buy a round dynomax, magnaflow, aero, etc. and have a muffler shop weld it on for you in the high tuck location? You will come out cheaper buy half. This is what I did...aero 2525xl and stock resonator behind it to quiet it up. Welds usually cost only $15 a connection. Just some suggestions. There isnt a consensus on sound preferences, only that performance wont be improved as some advertise.
