Hey guys, Im new here. Post seem to be mixed on this subject, I have a 08 x model auto with 3.73 gears, if I put 35s on what would be the BIG difference in MPG, I get around 17mpg now.

Now is that stick or auto. I can see stick being fine as you can determine shift points but as with the auto it will be kicking it in and out of OD depending on amount of throttle given or going up a slight hill.

Your MPGs will drop without a re-gear. 35's are much heavier tires, and you'll be using a lot more gas pedal to maintain speeds (hence more gas burned). Most gain back lost MPG after a re-gear, but it'll never be as good as stock.
