No telling how much dust he sucked in to that engine as we'd been wheelin' several places in TX prior to hitting the Colorado trip! He had the whole "free" oil change thing goin' too. How you like that for a "free"?
Wow he's lucky he found that loose boot, can you imagine crossing a creek or splashing through a puddle and sucking all that in? I generally look everything over after a service just to make sure something wasn't forgotten, I didn't know about the double seal on the oil filter, just figured if no leaky, no worry. thanks for the input, D.

sign of bad Compression,,, its can be checked two ways: manually with a compression gauge or electronically with an engine analyzer the measures cranking compression.

do u face a trouble when you start engine???

start with:
Air sys
Fuel sys
Spark
Compression

No trouble on startup, and gets up to speed pretty good, just nothing left when running on the hwy in 6th gear.

Default Power update

So far I've cleaned the air filter, checked the oil filter is tight, added fuel injector cleaner, fluids and tire pressures. It does seem to have a little more juice and running smoother, doesn't seem to be working as hard on the hwy. We'll see if the improvements continue after this tank of gas, or if I just basically added octane boost to the tank. Thanks for all the feedback, much appreciated.

Default Traction Control system

If you traction control system if messing up it will kill power to wheels if it thinks it is breaking loose.
