I drive an Infiniti G37 and I average 17 around town. It would be hot $hit if I get near that with the 35's im putting on my 2012 6speed Rubi

Well, you can't drive like you are 17 to achieve 17mpg. I normally shift at about 2200rpm, unless I'm getting on the freeway.

Hills are a killer. I spent the last few days in the hill country of Texas - got about 15. also noticed the lack of power going up hills. I think in a very hilly or mountain area- 3.73 and 35s would be tough to live with long term.

But it is fine in Houston.

2 Dr Rubi with 315/75-16 (34.6x12.4-16) Duratracs on Level 8 ZX wheels, 16x8.5 (4.5" BS), I have OME HD lift with front bumper and winch, avg about 17.5 MPG mostly city driving, wind definitely a factor with the lift and air dam removed; on long hwy trips I run with cruise control at 65 MPH and get about 16.5, if I push it to 70 MPH I drop to 16; never saw 21 MPH, even stock, LOL! I also run doorless/topless often so this may have effect

My mileage was lower before they replaced the heads and the engine ticked at its loudest. My mileage had dropped to around 14 just before I started throwing codes and finally got them to do something about the ticking engine. Once the head was replaced I was back to getting 17.5-18mpg..sometimes over 20mpg when the wind and terrain is in my favor...
