Default 3.5" Rock Krawler and bump stops.

What is everyone using for bump stops. I have teraflex extensions but with the 37s I'm rubbing the rear pinch seam. I've shortened the upper arms already due to my springs making contact with passenger side track bar.

I flexed it out and looks like I need at least 2 more inches! I'd like to keep the travel as I have plenty of room left on the shocks. Hate to trim the metal, but maybe it won't be so bad.

I took an inch and a half out of the squared up portion in the rear of the wheelwell and the 3.5" could benefit from a little more going. Without the cut it was munching into brand new 37's.

Rear bump stops are 2"
Front bump stops are 3"

That's what was recommended to me when I bought the kit 4 years ago. But I didn't have 37s then

That's what is going to happen to mine if I don't fix it. I just flexed out in the ditch. My rear shocks will bottom out a half inch before the bump stops hit and that's not counting the rubbage. Looks like 4" bump stops in the rear would fix all my issues. Or do 3" bumps and some trimming

Also checked the front. Front track bar drops down and will touch the differential. Loosen the jam nuts and roll the bar forward? Or is there something else to do. Adjustable RK track bars also.

Dang little two doors and there flex!
I can trim my bushwhackers some and pinch seam but still want bump.stops I think. My shocks will actually bottom out before bumpstops and I don't really want to mess them up

3.5 37's, axle moved back .5" seams trimmed 1" 3" stop front and rear. How far is your axle moved back?

Doesn't look too bad. What's an easy way to measure this.

I'm a half inch from the front portion of the fender flexed out and rub in the rear due to my short bump stops

Run just enough bump stop to keep the shocks from bottoming out and then trim the sheet metal as needed. Its the proper thing to do.

I run 2.5" bump stop, and had to trim front and rear pinch seams to keep the 37's off the tub
