Question 3.5" lift are driveline mods needed?

My local jeep shop said i could run the aev or re 3.5" kit without doing any mods to my driveline. Is this true and if so how many people are running this setup with no problems. It is my dd and i want to wheel once a month.

if it is the 2 door they may be correct, but if it's the 4 door, you can go to a 4 inch lift without doing anything to it.

I would still reccommend replacing it either way.

The front boot will get torn off on the transmission skid or the transmission pan. Just be careful not to flex it... unlike me who thought it wouldn't hit.
