Default 3/4" Front Spacers

I recently installed a set of Skyjacker 3/4" front spacers on top of my 4" SJ lift to level it out. If anyone with the 4" kit on a 2 dr is wondering....it worked great, it sits perfectly level now. I am very pleased and would highly recommend this to anyone with this kit.

I put the 3/4" spacers on my Rusty's 2" kit and they were perfect to offset the winch and bumper. I didn't put them on my 4" superlift yet, but will probably end up doing so next time I am working on the front end.

They are as easy to put on as any spring... Disco the sway bar, shock, and loosen the brake line. Then droop er low enough that you can pop the spring out. Add the spacer on top, and reverse assembly.

Yes, it was really easy, it took about an hour. The hardest part was diconnecting the bumpstops on the axle, it's an awkward bolt to get to. Jack up the front axle, put jack stands under the frame behind each of the front conrtrol arms, remove tires, disconnect the shocks, swaybar links, and brake line brackets, (you might not have to disconnect the track bar. I've heard people haven't, but I had to) and lower the front axle slowly with your jack until the springs are loose enough to pull out. Pull off the coil isolaters, insert the spacers, replace the isolaters and coils and reconnect everything. (And don't forget to remove the jack stands before you take off )

Skip if you are sitting stock right now, then you will definetly notice a huge difference with 3/4 spacers up front. I did mine a couple of weeks ago, and I was leary of doing it cuz I have never done too much suspension work without a lift, coil compressor etc..The only time I ever did springs was on mustangs in the past....But I will tell you that it was really really easy. I didn't touch the track bar, or disconnect brake line brackets.

Simply jacked her up from the front pumpkin, removed front wheel driver side, jackstand under frame rail (oh yearh I disconnected the sway bar links before jacking it up on both sides) once the wheel was off, simply unbolt the lower shock bolt, lower the jack until the spring falls out, remove the spring, and factory rubber isolator above the spring. Put the spacer in then the isolator...then put the spring back in making sure that it locks in (there is a groove on the ??lower control arm?? that holds the spring in place from rotating. put the shock nut and bolt back on and tire then do the next side. Once both wheels are back on and she is on the ground put the sway bar link lower bolts back in and your done.

If you need any help I'm not too far from you...I definetly reco doing this especially if you are at stock height, makes her look way more aggressive and the ride is way better.

any ideas guys...I'm going from a stock setup to a Teraflex 2 1/2" budget boost soon; do I need to add spacers on the front now or leave as is? I don't have a steel bumper or winch yet...but may sometime in the future. What do you think? I did notice that my JK has a slight "rake" to it where the front nose slopes down a bit - gas savings or something?? Anyway, let me know what you all think. Thanks.

I don't know if the TF BB kit lifts higher in the front or not. Lots of people have that kit though. Maybe one of them could provide some input for you.

I just put a 1'' spacer on the front of my jk with the 2.5 bb.. My front brake lines are a little to short now, sense the bb kit didnt come with a braket for the front like the one for the rear brake lines (any ideas on a braket or just longer brake lines). It looks great, it sits level maybe a little higher up front.
