3.21 to 4.88
Hey guys, I'm going from 3.21's to 4.88 in both of my axles. 30 front, 44 rear. Do I need new carriers? Can someone point me to them plz. Thank you

Make sure you get the spider gears with it cause I'm pretty sure that the stock ones won't work/ the shop you have do it might not know how to reuse them. Mine didn't and i had to wait 3 extra days to get them in

Just some food for thought...
If you are thinking of a Trutrac or Locker in the front, now is the time to do it. They replace the carrier assembly, so if you you spend money on a carrier and spider gears now, it will just be wasted money if you get a new diff later.

Are there different sets of spider gears for different dana 30 carrier sizes?
I'm opting to not go lockers right now, I just need gas mileage!! After the axle upgrades I'll go lockers, don't want to snap my wimpy dana 30.
